Brand in the spotlight: HEMA

CATEGORY? High Street Hero

PRICE RANGE? Pocket Money

An established Dutch Brand since 1926, HEMA only recently opened its doors upon our fine shores here in Britain. Following shortly after came the launch of their online store, which is a complete godsend as they currently have just five high street shops in the UK (three of which are London based).

Stocking a large selection of everyday products – anything from beauty items, to household nic-nacks and children’s toys – it’s impossible to leave with just one item!

HEMA prides itself on producing modern, attractive and easy to use everyday objects, at incredibly low prices without compromising on the quality. I can honestly say I’ve always been very impressed (at my own admission, I’m a tough cookie to please). Actually, quite a few of my pennies have been spent in here, so I guess this post should come with a health warning: Shopping in HEMA is addictive.

Scandinavian, Nordic and Dutch style is always something my eye has been drawn to, and HEMA serves this up in abundance.

So, we’ve established that I’m a fan, but what about you? I’ll edge my bets at a yes. Here are some of my top buys to tempt you….

Me too! There isn’t one near where I am in Devon. Which is why the online offering is so great!
