One of the main things we were missing was artwork. A room just isn’t quite finished without art on the walls. I was delighted when Poster Lounge offered to help solve our hall wall dilemma and also offer you wonderful lot a chance to win a voucher to spend with them.
If you have followed our renovation saga, you’ll be well versed on how work ground to a hault. However, work is slowly back underway and we are starting to piece back together the rooms downstairs…one of which is the back hallway that runs the full length of the house and connects the upstairs and extension to the original farmhouse building.
It’s a great space, that provides access to the garden at the back of the house and also houses a double closet for all our outdoor wear and shoes. I’d lovingly chosen a sideboard and also an upcycled bench (from Nina’s Apartment, locally) and have been excited to make this space more homely since we laid the flooring in February this year.
As there are 2 levels to the area I wanted to layer up my sideboard. We already had a tall print, but were looking to add a splash of colour into what I’m carving into an industrial feeling space. So I opted for a flamingo print, so add a pop of pink and liven up what was beginning to look a bit accidentally monochrome. These posters come rolled and ready to frame and start from as little as £7.90.
For the upcycled bench, I wanted something with texture, so opted for a framed canvas of a graphic rain drop print…picking up the pink colour from the flamingo poster on the higher level.
Every design Poster Lounge offer, comes with a choice of finishes…so whether you want a poster, box canvas, frames canvas or even want to frame using poster hangers, they cater for every option to best suit your space and taste.
