First it was MADE.com and now it’s Loaf. Two of our favourite homeware and furniture stores have gone little – catering with ranges exclusively for kids. The new Little Loafers collection will launch in stores on Thursday 10th November and has been created especially for kids aged three and up.
For a brand known for it’s laid-back aesthetic with a slant on industrial, French and Scandi design, it’s no surprise the childrens’ collection has been created on a similar theme. Highlights include the Hutch headboard (£225 – pictured above), a headboard and shelf combo designed to echo a cute beach hut by the sea, the Mabel animal head (£65 – pictured below) and Triplet storage (£165 – also pictured below).
There are just under 100 new pieces, from beds to desks, cushions to rugs and lighting too. If you’re a fan of the grown-up side of the brand, you’ll be guaranteed to swoon over the mini range too.
They’re not cheap, but then you wouldn’t expect them to be really, as the brand’s known for creating high quality handmade pieces which are built to last. With that in mind, it’s probably best to view these as investment pieces, to last through to the teen years – unless you fancy stealing them once the kids’ are done.
The colours are classically neutral, with the odd soft grey, pink or blue thrown in, so in that sense they’re future-proofed against pretty much any room colour scheme changes.
