TREND WATCH: Indoor Hanging Plants

Hanging Ceramic Plant Pots

Hanging plants are definitely having a moment right now. And, for anyone who has a toddler with curious fingers in the house then hanging planters are your new best friend. They’re a quick and simple way to add some greenery to a room without having to worry about your little person grabbing the plant pot and stamping soil into your carpets!

We love these hanging ceramic planters pictured above, £13.95 each from family-run online home and garden boutique MiaFleur. Or, if Terrariums are more your thing, then these hanging planters from Decorator’s Notebook (pictured below and costing £26.95) are rather sweet.

You can either hang your planters from hooks in your ceiling, or put up a pole or long piece of wood to hang your planters from. This is a great opportunity to get creative – how about hanging a range of different planters at different lengths against a plain wall to create a feature? Or using a stunning piece of driftwood as your hanging pole, to add another element of interest? Check out our plants and flowers Pinterest board for some ideas, plus some inspiration if you’re feeling crafty enough to try to make your own…

And if you’re in the market for a hanging planter but don’t have time to make one yourself, then you could always invest in one from this selection at the Roost Shop. Don’t forget, you can buy directly from here, without having to click away anywhere else!
